BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - A home invasion robbery is under arrest, but additional suspects are still being sought in Benton.

Just before 2 a.m. Oct. 20, Benton police officers were called to Fountain Lake Apartments on Congo Road about a loud music complaint, but when they arrived they were told of another possible disturbance at another apartment.

Officers tried to talk to the resident inside, but while there officers heard a second story window open and saw suspects fleeing from the building.

The officers gave chase and one of the suspects, identified as 23-year-old Ryan Walker, was apprehended a short time later.

Authorities learned through their investigation that multiple suspects forced their way into the apartment at gunpoint. The suspects then robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of personal items and money. Due to officers arriving during the act, the suspects left behind most of the stolen items before jumping out of the second story window to escape.

Walker is charged with aggravates residential burglary, aggravated robbery, theft of property, fleeing on foot, false imprisonment, and possession of a controlled substance.

This is an on-going investigation and detectives are diligently working on leads in the case to apprehend the other suspects that were involved.
