LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Much like technology, banking is ever changing. For most of us, it can be hard to follow the trends.

Alicia McCoy, Senior Vice President of Retail and Delta Trust and Bank stopped by "THV 11 This Morning" to share more.

McCoy says there are new ATMs with "intelligent deposit" capabilities which enables customers to make automated deposits with checks or cash. The ATM counts your cash, validates the amount and credits it to the appropriate account. The ATMs also provide immediate proof of deposit with denomination totals and/or an image of the check printed on the receipt.

Although there is this new technology, face-to-face banking will always be available.

Also there is remote capture for small businesses to process checks. The bank provides the business with a scanner that allows the business to electronically capture each check. Once all the checks are scanned and confirmed then the business just submits the electronic deposit online to the bank, and they take care of it from there.
