SOCIAL HILL, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Hope man was killed when he drove his vehicle into a parked truck at a rest stop along Interstate 30.

Arkansas State Police say the crash happened early Thursday at a rest area along Interstate 30 in Hot Spring County. According to a preliminary report, 64-year-old Terry Glendening was driving east at about 4 a.m. when he took the exit ramp to the rest stop.

The report says Glendening crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked at the rest stop. State police say Glendening was killed in the crash.
