According to the Movember website, money raised goes to support world-class men's health programs "focused on awareness and education, living with and beyond cancer, staying mentally healthy, living with and beyond mental illness and research."
The Movember site itself has raised millions of dollars for education. Canada came into first place by raising $23,553,534 while the US brought in the third highest total at $17,162,499.
