STUTTGART, Ark. (KTHV) - We all know the sound of a duck call well, and the sound filled the air this Saturday at the 78th Annual Duck Calling Contest.
Duck callers from 38 states flocked to Stuttgart to perform their best duck calls, and festival chairman Stephen Bell said duck hunting is a sport for the whole family.
"Just the marketing of duck hunting and the lifestyle of duck hunting has grown, and we think it's great. It's not just for the guys either. It's for women and children. It's almost become a lifestyle," he said.
Bell added that this year's competition featured two competitors from Canada and one from New Zealand.
