SEARCY, Ark. (KTHV) - The White County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a case where three men forcibly entered a home and injured a woman. At this time the men are still on the loose, and are considered to be armed and dangerous.
According to Deputy Heather Zomant with the Support Services Division, the men are described as white men in their 20s to early 30s all standing between 5 feet, 6 inches to 6 feet tall. All of them were wearing dark colored clothing and masks, brandishing weapons and demanding money. They fled on foot from the scene.
The break-in happened around 7:13 Saturday night on the 100 block of Sibley Trail, and one of the residents was "possibly shot during the incident," according to Zomant. That person was taken to White County Medical Center for treatment; their condition is unknown.
Anyone with any information is encouraged to call the White County Sheriff's Department at (501) 279-6279 or White County Communications at (501) 279-6231. Again, these men are considered armed and dangerous. Do not attempt to approach them or try to detain them yourself.
Police plan to release more information as this case develops. THV11 will have more information as soon as it becomes available on www.THV11.com.
