LONOKE, Ark. (KTHV) - A couple, both members of Lonoke County law enforcement, are under arrest.

Lt. Jim Kulesa with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office saidthe Sheriff's Office got a call of a fight between a husband and wife at a home on Black Jack Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Sheriff John Staley and Chief Deputy Mike Kindall responded. The initial investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Jack Fitzhugh and his wife, 40-year-old Kathrine Fitzhugh.

Both are arrested for third degree domestic battery.

Kulesa said Jack Fitzhugh is a corporal assigned to the patrol division with the Sheriff's Office, and Kathrine Fitzhugh is a volunteer auxiliary deputy with the Sheriff's Office and a full time police officer with Pulaski Tech.

Both subjects have been placed on administrative suspension pending the completion of the State Police investigation.
