February 10, 2014 (KTHV) - Voting is taking place on Tuesday in Bryant and Searcy.
Voting opens on Tuesday in Bryant where school officials are proposing a 4.7 hike in the local millage.
The increase will go toward a $55 million building and expansion project throughout the city. Polls will be open from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 tomorrow night.
In White County, Searcy voters also deciding on a 1 percent city sales tax. Supporters said it will generate 6.4 million per year over the 8 years until the tax will sunset.
The added money will be split across 6 departments, mainly street and drainage projects.
