LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KEEP ARKANSAS BEAUTIFUL) - Finding the perfect anniversary gift can be a tricky thing. At some point in their lives, most people will need to buy an anniversary present. Many may wonder what to get. For example, there's the diamond anniversary, gold, silver and so on, but what about the Greeniversary? Never heard of that one? That's because this is the first year it has existed.
Keep Arkansas Beautiful is celebrating 25 years of service this year with a Greeniversary virtual event and needs your green - money, that is. And what better time to donate than during National Green Week, which kicked off Feb. 9.
The foundation is encouraging Arkansans to show their pride by making a charitable donation to the nonprofit organization during this virtual event.
"For 25 years, Arkansans have done a great job in sustaining Arkansas' natural beauty," said Steve Holcomb, chairman of the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Foundation. "Even though volunteering at a local cleanup may seem like something small, it's the small things that end up having the biggest impact."
Donations in any amount will help commemorate this milestone by supporting the foundation's efforts to curb behaviors that negatively impact the environmental quality and scenic beauty of Arkansas. Donations can be made by visiting Greeniversary.org or by mailing a check to:

"The Greeniversary is a time when all Arkansans can give their green to keep Arkansas clean," said Mimi San Pedro, Greeniversary committee chairwoman. "It's up to all of us to help keep our state beautiful, and any action no matter how small will make a difference."
