WHITE COUNTY, Ark. (WHITE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT) - On Tuesday, deputies and detectives with the White County Sheriff's Department, assisted by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Officers and Investigators with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on James Street in the Plainview community.
Deputies were able to locate items that were tied to several burglaries and thefts. Among the approximately $11,000 worth of items recovered were several stolen firearms, electronics, police gear-including badges that were used during an armed home invasion robbery, tools, an ATV and a stolen vehicle.
Arrested at the residence was Mr. James Massey, 37, of Judsonia. Mr. Massey had outstanding warrants for probation violation; and additional charges of aggravated residential burglary, possession of a firearm by certain persons and theft by receiving-all felony charges-will be filed against him. Mr. Massey is being held at the White County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
