Officer Kristi Mitchell said 22-year-old Kyle Johnson worked at the Bi-State Jail. She said the arrest comes from a confidential informant giving information.

That information led to undercover investigators to believe the contraband was marijuana and tobacco.

Johnson has been charged with furnishing, possessing, or using prohibited articles in a correctional facility, a felony crime.

Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department at 903-798-3154 or Texarkana area CrimeStoppers at 903-793-STOP.
