GARLAND COUNTY, Ark.(KTHV) - A Garland County man is upset after he found two of his dogs shot to death.

"I want an apology and an explanation on why they shot my dogs and other dogs in the neighborhood and retribution for my dogs," said Tommy Hammons, a Garland County resident.

Hammons said his two Blood Hounds dug their way out of a fence. He said a neighbor called and told him she thought she had found his dogs.

"Man you just don't do that. You don't shoot a man's dogs," said Hammons.

Hammons said there was another dog found dead along with his dogs which belonged to an elderly neighbor.

"It was a companion of ten years and it was her friend and she cried. It was upsetting," said Hammons.

Hammons found four other dead dogs four weeks ago.
