LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - We are just days away from one of Little Rock's busiest and most "epic" weekends. The 12th annual Little Rock Marathon is happening March 1-2, 2014. Thousands of people are working around the clock to get all the necessities in order.

"We printed 7,000 posters, 9,000 race booklets and 12,000 instruction sheets," said Magna IV Chief Operating Officer Kristi Dannelley.

This is Magna IV's 12th year doing this kind of printing for the Little Rock Marathon. They have been helping out since the beginning.

"We are just so proud to be a part of it and look forward to carrying on the tradition," said Dannelley.

The communications and marketing company has been in Little Rock for more than 30 years. For the marathon, they print the signs and banners. They also have equipment that cuts the signs out in different shapes.

Wondering where the medals and t-shirts are made? They are not made in Arkansas. The medals are coming from a company out of Kansas. The t-shirts are coming from Memphis.

Arkansas Portable Toilets is supplying more than 230 porta potties. This is their 8th year doing this event. Bubba Wood is one of the owners. He said the marathon tops his company's list of biggest events.

"It is a wonderful thing," said Bubba Wood. "And it is getting bigger every year, which is enjoyable for us. Any event in Arkansas that we do, and my partner Scott will attest to this, it grows every year."

"The Little Rock Marathon brings in so many people from around the world that would not otherwise be exposed to Little Rock," said Dannelley.

People from out of town are not only being exposed to Little Rock, but also all of the city's locally owned businesses.

"It is just fabulous that we get to showcase this little jewel that we have here in central Arkansas," said Dannelley.
