Taziki's break ground at McCain Mall in NLR

McCain Mall's is adding some Mediterranean flair to its food scene. The North Little Rock mall announced Thursday that Taziki's Mediterranean Café has broken ground there and will open in early fall. The restaurant will be next to the Regal McCain Mall Stadium 12 & RPX, and feature an outdoor patio. "We look forward to serving guests from North Little Rock and across the state that come to McCain Mall for their shopping needs," President and CEO Jim Keet said in a news release. Taziki's is a casual dining restaurant that offers Mediterranean cuisine.

Google Glass may be ready for public

Google's Glass Explorer program is once again open to anyone with a web browser and $1,500. After last week's "one-day" sale event, Google's product page showed all models of Glass as sold out. So if you feel nervous about buying stocks before you've learned the ropes, fine. That's the thinking behind a new retirement plan in the U.K.

Ronald McDonald is going chic. Or, at least he's certainly trying to. The McDonald's icon famous for his wild red hair, yellow jumpsuit and floppy shoes, has gotten a makeover from a theatrical stylist – really – who has updated just about everything but the shoes. The new Ronald sports a red blazer, a red bow tie, red-and-white striped rugby shirt, yellow vest and, yes, yellow cargo pants. His hair is more coiffed. His vibe is less creepy. And – how shall we politely say this? – he looks slightly less clown-like.
