Marielle Mohs joined the THV 11 news team in July 2013 as a multi-media journalist and morning show producer, including the Saturday morning show.
Elle, as she is known to most people, is a Minneapolis native, but started her broadcasting career in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Denver, and during her last year of school, she was accepted into the Gannett Talent Development Program where she was trained as a broadcast producer at KUSA, the Gannett/NBC affiliate. She helped produce its 11 a.m. and noon show, and assisted in their coverage of the Black Forest Wildfire.
Prior to KUSA, Elle worked for mtvU, a collegiate branch of MTV, where she was a correspondent during the first presidential debate of the 2012 election. She also interned at the CBS affiliate in Denver, where she worked on the scene the day of the Aurora movie theater shooting.
As a Minnesota native, Elle enjoys spending her free time on a lake. She likes anything outdoors, especially skiing, golfing, running and hiking. She has already hiked Pinnacle Mountain multiple times, and LOVES it.
