Kevin Trager landed in the Natural State after beginning his career in the actual Windy City, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
He did it all out west, serving as the one-man capital bureau reporter for KCWY-TV, the NBC affiliate in Casper, WY. Kevin's two-year stint in Cheyenne included coverage of the Arapaho Wildfire - which covered nearly 100,000 acres and was one of the nation's largest wildfires in 2012, as well as Cheyenne Frontier Days, the world's largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration.
Kevin also reported on the Wheatland triple homicide in 2011, which earned him a Wyoming Association of Broadcasters award for best breaking news coverage.

A native of Louisville, KY (Go Cards!), Kevin is no stranger to the southeast and is grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the people and the culture of Arkansas through his reporting.
Outside of the newsroom, you may find Kevin exploring new Little Rock neighborhoods and parks, or catching up with friends and family back home. He's a graduate of the University of Maryland, so crab cakes and football run through his veins.
If you see Kevin around town, stop and say hello. You're the reason he got into the business, and he'd love to meet you. You can also email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
