HOLIDAY ISLAND, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say two people from Illinois were killed in a motorcycle wreck in the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas.

According to Arkansas State Police, the wreck happened Monday morning on Arkansas 23 in Carroll County. A preliminary report says 58-year-old Steven Harvey was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve and crashed into a tree.

Harvey's passenger, 56-year-old Linda Harvey, also died in the wreck. State police say both were from Waukegan, Illinois.
