LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Just two weeks ago, THV 11 News talked about the importance of improving mental health care in America. In light of the recent events in Connecticut, mental health has taken the national spotlight, along with gun control and other issues.
THV 11 has also received a number of calls from people who said getting help for a child who is technically an adult is very difficult and nearly impossible unless they go in voluntarily.
Ken Clark, a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, stopped by THV 11 Studios to talk more about improving the accessibility of mental health and bring the discussion out into the public.
Is there enough access to mental health care, and what can we do to improve it? Hear what Ken Clark has to say in the video attached to this story.
