Little Rock, Ark. (KTHV)- Little Rock River Market employees put up barriers in front of the food court building after large slabs of ice were seen falling from the roof after Sunday's ice storm.

"They gave me a band aid and patched me up and I filed a report," recalled Jeremy Teeter, whose head was cut open when he was hit by an ice block in December. "I followed up the next day with the director and was a little surprised when I never received a response."

River Market director Diana Long says the barriers weren't put up until Tuesday because the building was closed on Monday. "There's no way for us to prevent it from happening so we just try to make people aware," she told THV. "Obviously, as soon as we could get to it to make sure people were safe in the area we absolutely did. That's all that we can do at that point."
