LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Bike riders had worries about the weather down at the River Market Saturday ,but in the end, the fun wasn't dampened for the city's first-ever Pedalpalooza.

Call it a combination of swap-meet and biking meet-and-greet, Padelpalooza offers up the chance to recycle kids' bikes or pick up a new one and do plenty more if you're a fan of biking in the city.

"You can just get information, buy spare bike parts, and just kind of have a conversation with other people who are really into the biking community. Network and see new folks, and you just can't beat that," described River Market director Diana Long.

Despite the threatening weather, Long said the turnout was excellent, meaning they very likely will hold another one of these events soon.
