CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) – With more than 53,000 views, it's safe to say that a Conway man's rendition of Pharrell Williams' "Happy" has gone absolutely viral.

Using wine glasses, cooking pans, and pencils for drum sticks, Dan Newbie said he made the video to prove how sometimes you don't need actual musical instruments to make music… He said, "Just as you don't always need a reason to be happy."

Newbie lives in Conway, Arkansas and according to his YouTube profile, he is a computer science student, music producer, photographer, and filmmaker. He told THV11 in an email that this was his first time using "unconventional instruments." He said making the video, which he shot by himself using a tripod, was just a fun way to pass a couple of snow days.

In the email, Newbie made sure to note, "Sorry about the Texas shirt -- haha."

Check out his video below: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQvhD03wjn4)

In regards to a tweet by Pharrell himself, Newbie said it, "pretty much made my day."
