FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Since Sunday's storms that devastated many areas in central Arkansas, the goal has been to come together to rebuild.
Michael West is part of Woodmen of the World, a non-profit financial service organization.
This is one way they give back.
"What we're trying to do is get to the people that no one else has gotten to yet," said West.
After living on 12 Williams Road for 35 years, David and Carol Harris have been through a lot here.
They've been hit not once, but twice.
"Like tornado alley."
They're not sure they can risk a third.
"My tractors shot. My trucks shot. My barn's gone. The horse trailers gone."
And for a moment on Sunday night, as Harris held on for dear life, he thought his life would be gone too.
"I grabbed on to the walls and I pulled this frame off the wall."
After the scariest moment of his life, this is what is helping him through.
"We didn't have nothing to work with except these people that donated their time."
