LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The citizens of Little Rock will soon get the chance to meet each of the three final candidates competing to be the next Little Rock Police Chief.
Little Rock public relations manager Meg Matthews said three public receptions will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th Street. Matthews added that these receptions will include an opportunity to visit informally with the candidates and offer a presentation where the candidate will have a chance to make opening remarks before answering questions from the crowd.
The reception dates are as follows:
- May 8 - Eric Higgins, Assistant Chief of Police, Little Rock Police Department
- May 12 - Kenton Buckner, Assistant Chief of Police, Louisville Metro Police Department, Louisville KY
- May 15 - John Ray, Executive Chief Deputy, Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, Fort Worth TX
