BEEBE, Ark. (KTHV) - The White County Sheriff's Office is investigating, what appears to be, a domestic dispute that led to a shooting Thursday evening.

Chief Phillip Miller said the incident happened at a home in the Beebe area about 5 p.m., when a father and son - both adults - were involved in a disturbance. The argument reportedly led to the father shooting the son out of reported self defense, according to Miller.

Miller said the son appears to have non-life-threatening injuries; deputies continue to investigate the situation.
