The Illinois governor signed a sweet new bill into law on Tuesday.
The "Cupcake Bill" was passed with the help of a 12-year-old girl, whose home-based cupcake business was shut down for not having a business license.
The law applies to home-kitchen businesses making less than a $1,000 a month, and says they can't be shut down unless there is a complaint or health issue.
The governor says the law opens the doors to more home business to operate with minimal government interference.
