BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Officials say no one was injured after a train derailed in Blytheville.

Police Chief Ross Thompson says the Burlington Northern Santa Fe train derailed at about 2 p.m. Sunday near Ash Street. Thompson says the derailed train blocked several intersections in Blytheville.

The cause of the derailment hasn't been confirmed, but Thompson tells the Blytheville Courier News (http://bit.ly/1puqO6I) that a switch malfunction may be to blame.

Thompson says no hazardous material spilled from the train.
