BRYANT, Ark. (KTHV) – Hundreds of Central Arkansans kicked the holiday weekend off a little early on Thursday night with three live bluegrass bands, inflatables, all-you-can-eat watermelon, fireworks, and so much more.
This year marks the fourth annual year for the Red, White and Bluegrass Festival, an event at Bryant's First Southern Baptist Church.
"What better than to do an outdoor event with music, bluegrass and some great food... and build relationships with the people in our community," said Chad Smith, a pastor at the church.
Pastor Smith said he's happy to see how much the festival has grown in just four years. In fact, it's now the largest bluegrass festival in Central Arkansas.
