LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - More than 200 teenagers from across the country restored homes throughout Little Rock on Tuesday.

The student-volunteers are part of faith-based World Changers and say their mission is to make the world a better place.

The teens are working with the city's Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs this week to paint homes in 14 locations. This is the eleventh year the organization has come to Little Rock.

"We really do almost get more out of this than the home-owners do, I mean we want to serve the home owners, and get to know them, but we leave just so thankful for the opportunity to get to serve them," said Jesse Payne, youth pastor.

The teenagers pay money out of their own pockets to help improve the living conditions of people across the country.

The student ministries will organize service projects across 85 cities nationwide.
