MADISON, Wisc. (WISC) - A neighbor in the town of Dunn, Wisconsin complained that Bret Bielema's house was underassessed.
Bielema, who is now the head coach at the University of Arkansas, is asking nearly $2.2 million for the 6,600 square foot home.
According to WISC, earlier this year, the house was assessed at $809,000. That's a little more than one-third of the asking price.
Officials in the town of Dunn met to discuss the issue.
The town clerk said the assessment didn't include more than 2,000 square feet of finished space on the lower level.
As a result, the board of review changed the assessment to about $1.3 million.
The neighbor who complained said the town was giving away tax revenue by assessing the house at such a low rate.
