LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - New changes are coming soon to West Little Rock. An expansion at the Promenade at Chenal will bring four new stores to the shopping center this fall.

"Our goal is to make this a place where you're going to come and spend some time and accomplish all of the things that you need to accomplish throughout the day," said Linda Hinton, Promenade General Manager.

Construction is already underway on a new Home Goods near McDonald's. It's slated to open in late September.

"Very excited about Home Goods," said Hinton. "It's definitely going to bring some traffic to the center."

At the main entrance on Chenal Parkway, a multitenant building is under construction. The 8,000-square-foot plot is just across from Bravo and Coldwater Creek.

"They'll have some really good visibility for those four new tenants that are going to be coming in," Hinton said.

"I think it's going to be great," said shopper Deborah Sanders. "I think it's just an up and coming area and the more stores, the better."

Hinton gave THV 11 the exclusive on Wednesday morning. She told us that GNC, AT&T and Boneheads Restaurant will be joining the Promenade's store front just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Hinton said her goal is to make the shopping center a one-stop shop for West Little Rock.

"It means more opportunity for folks to come out here and work and it also provides a service for the community so it's a win-win," Hinton said. "We're excited about that."
