LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A wreck on Interstate 40 backed up traffic for hours and left one dead on Wednesday evening.
State police have identified the man killed in the accident as 53-year-old Ronnie Smith from Dallas, Texas.
Police said an 18-wheeler smashed into the back of Smith's car, forcing him into the back of another 18-wheeler in front of him. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 5-vehicle-accident happened around 5 p.m. causing a huge traffic back up.
