BRINKLEY, Ark. (KTHV) - Flood waters are not only affecting farmers, but also homeowners in the town of Brinkley.

As of Monday, the waters are beginning to go down, but not quickly enough.

The neighborhood where flood waters were the highest is still impossible to drive through. Officials there say if they get any more rain, homes that are now drying out could be flooded again.

They have asked the Corps of Engineers to help fix the problem.
