UNDATED (KTHV) - From a 3-year-old rescuing a man in a hot car to an 8-year-old's free piano concert attracting hundreds, there are plenty of positive stories from the past week that are definitely on the 'brighter side'.

3-year-old saves man from hot car

A fast acting 3-year-old is credited with saving a Tennessee man stuck inside a sweltering car. Bob King was locked inside his vehicle outside his church on Saturday when the switch on the car door malfunctioned. King has battled cancer, suffered from strokes and wears a Pacemaker. He had been locked in the car for about 5 minutes when 3-year-old Keith Williams walked by. The little boy ran to tell his pastor and led him outside to the car.

Toddler awarded 'everyday hero' for helping injured dad

Sometimes our kids surprise us with how calm they can be and how well they respond in adverse situations. Soon to be three-year-old Patrick Roberts of Oklahoma was presented an Everyday Hero Award from EMSA paramedic Vicki Lane Monday, as well as a Superman action figure, for remaining calm and cool when his dad fell and broke his leg. The phone was on the island in the kitchen, so Patrick Jr. got his stool so he could reach it. "I don't know how long it took for everyone to get there, but he stayed with me, sang songs with me," Patrick Sr. said. "I'm sure we sang Baa, Baa Black Sheep, and Where in the World is The Pokey Little Puppy."

Boy's free concert in his yard attracts hundreds

8-year-old Dylan Spoering in Minneapolis got much more than he expected when he planned a piano concert in his front yard on Saturday. A neighbor saw his hand-made sign, and posted the event on Facebook. Its estimated that more than 400 people showed up to the free concert over the weekend. The concert is getting a lot of comments on Facebook. One person posted that it was the highlight of her weekend. Others are asking for Dylan to do it again soon.
