WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) – THV11's CBS affiliate in northwest Arkansas KFSM has confirmed that the cause of death for a beloved cyclist who crashed over the weekend was intubation.

Laura Wooldridge, 39, crashed her bike while riding trails in Eureka Springs on Saturday. Emergency crews were called to the scene, but KFSM reports that she died after responders had problems placing a breathing tube in her neck.

On Sunday, THV11's Dan Grossman reported that the Little Rock cycling community gathered together to remember Wooldridge in a memorial ride.

Another ride to honor Wooldridge is scheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m. More information: https://www.facebook.com/events/302449003255162/
