JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - A four-hour lock down shut down all action happening on Little Rock Air Force Base. One person says, "I don't know much." Many who were on the base at the time of the lock down say they were not given many details.
Another added, "They told us there was a suspicious individual on base and that's all we heard." One woman who was on the base said, "We were in the BX starting to do our shopping and the next thing we knew we were being sent to the back of the store and it was on lock down." Intense moments were documented through pictures on social media.
She continued, "They brought us sandwiches and they brought us water. Then they asked anyone about medication." This woman tells us what was unfolding during the time officials were searching for a reported "suspicious individual". She added, "And they told us that it was a true blue emergency."
Four hours later and the "all clear" was announced and several cars left Little Rock Air Force base very hastily. An employee leaving said, "I'm glad to be gone."
