LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The Adopt America Network is active both here in Arkansas and across the country. Saturday, network members met with would-be parents to give children the forever homes they crave.

"What the Adopt America Network does with a small staff and a lot of intensity and urgency, is try and find families for these kids," explained Wendy Sporel, president of AAN. "So we're always working across the country, looking for more and more families who are interested and care about the kids"

Sporel said 33,000 kids age out of the adoption system every year. Her group works to help families through the process of adoption and prepare for the expenses involved.
