HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) - Hot Springs police arrested an 11-year-old boy on Thursday after he reportedly managed to steal a car and drive it at least 3 miles.

The car's owner reported it stolen from the YMCA and police used the "Find My iPhone" app to locate the car on Mountain View Street.

The boy allegedly got out of the driver's seat when police arrived.

They say he later admitted to taking the keys from a cubby and going through purses in the car.

A felony conviction could mean 10 years in prison.
