LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- From current soldiers working hard to honoring soldiers who served in Vietnam.

The Jacksonville museum holding a parade and other activities today commemorating Vietnam Veterans Day.

Director Danna-Kay Duggar says there's is an historical hole left open for many vets from that era. She said, "As most people know the Vietnam vets did not get the welcome home that they deserved and so we're trying to fix that."

Groups from across the mid-south joined several local organizations for the parade - the memorial service and the dinner presentation throughout the afternoon.
