LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The woman accused of starting a fire that destroyed a portion of the Forest Place Apartments pleaded guilty to two counts of arson on Friday.
According to officials, there were seven separate fires that broke out at Forest Place from February to June of last year.
Lacey Rae Moore was originally indicted on seven counts of arson. She pleaded guilty to the two counts stemming from the two largest fires at the complex.
The fires combined displaced almost 200 residents and caused millions of dollars in damage. Moore admitted to starting all the fires and said she accepts full responsibility for paying restitution.
