LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Workers have made a piece of river trail safe again after patching a 7-foot-deep sinkhole on Tuesday.

THV11's Macy Jenkins found the hole while riding her bike. She actually contacted city officials complaining about the danger of the 7-foot-deep hole.

That area located between the Big Dam Bridge and Murray Park is still roped off today while pavement dries. River Trail officials say the closed section should be open by tomorrow.
