LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 22, 2014) -- Construction work at the I-430/I-630 (Big Rock) Interchange will require overnight lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Crews will be painting the I-630 westbound to I-430 southbound bridge. This work will require closing the eastbound outside lane of Financial Centre Parkway and Interstate 630 from Hermitage Road to the Baptist Hospital Ramp.
Once the painting is complete, crews will remove safety platforms from the newly constructed Shackleford Road Overpass on Financial Centre Parkway. This work will require closing the eastbound and westbound inside lanes of Financial Centre Parkway from Hermitage Road to Shackleford Road.
The lane closures will be Sunday night, August 24th through Friday morning, August 29th, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
