NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A foreclosure has forced the Argenta Community Development Corporation out of the same district it's been working to improve.

Executive Director Hannah Vogler with the ACDC says they chose to stop making payments for the main street building. She says they were throwing money away after investing $800,000 into the building that they think is worth less than that.

Nathan Hamilton with the city of North Little Rock says this foreclosure does not reflect how the ACDC does business.

"What you see behind me is thanks to them. A lot of hard work from the city council, the mayor and we do hope they really work through these financial issues," said Hamilton.

The city has donated a small space for now that the ACDC will use.
