LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The deadline to enroll in health insurance under the Affordable Care Act is quickly approaching. Arkansas Surgeon General Dr. Joe Thompson said enrollees must sign up by March 31, 2014 to take advantage of tax credits to get health insurance.
"I think for older folks with a chronic condition, they understand the importance and need for health insurance. It's the younger folks who may not have an issue yet or may have a car accident tomorrow they need to sign up today so they can be covered tomorrow," Thompson explained.
