(USA TODAY) -- 13-year old Sicily Kolbeck made herself a little house in her parent's backyard. But not a treehouse, or a playhouse like you may imagine from a teenager. This is a real, albeit tiny, house! All 128 square feet of it, complete with kitchen and bathroom.
The Georgia teen started the backyard project with the blessing and help of her teacher/mother and handy father. But before the house could be finished, Sicily's father died suddenly in a car accident.
Instead of giving up her dreams of finishing the house with the help of her dad, Sicily persevered. "After my father passed, I realized I wasn't going to be doing it with him anymore," she said. "So I kind of continued on to show him what I could do and to kind of show him, so that he could be proud of me wherever he was."
With a little help from a home improvement store and a roofer, see what Sicily's little house looks like now in the video above.
