SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CNN) -- Here's something you don't see every day! Check out this little cutie, a "geep"; half-goat, half-sheep hybrid.
The unexpected kid, or lamb, was born at an Arizona petting zoo.
Sheep-goat hybrids are quite rare; the animals don't often mate, and when they do, the offspring are usually stillborn. In this case, the petting zoo owners didn't even know their ewe was pregnant!
They've named the "geep" Butterfly, because of her spots. She's less than a week old, and she's already made friends with a horse at the ranch where she'll grow up!
