AUSTIN, Texas - The Southern Arkansas women's golf team is in third-place out of six competing teams through the first round of the Linda Lowery Invitational, hosted by Concordia University Texas. The two-day tournament is being played at the Par-71 Falconhead Golf Club in Austin, Texas.

Sophomore golfer Amanda Levin is currently tied for fifth-place individually as she posted the team's lowest round on Monday as she fired an 85. Freshman golfer Nikki Vallandingham was right behind Levin with an 86. Vallandingham is currently tied for eighth-place individually.

Rounding out scoring for the Lady Muleriders was Taylor Burdick, Hilary Pauli, and Raven Perrin. Burdick shot a 92 while Pauli shot a 95 and Perrin shot a 103. Elizabeth Dover also competed in the tournament as an individual and posted a score of 102.

The second and final round of this invitational will be played on Tuesday, February 18.
