McWilliams leads eStem to Class 3A championship

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Olivia McWilliams scored 21 points, 16 in the second half, as eStem rallied to win the school's first state title with a 47-38 win over Harding Academy in the girls Class 3A championship game.

The Lady Mets (29-6) trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half and 24-17 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Wildcats (25-9) 30-14 in the second half.

McWilliams, who also had 10 rebounds, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Gia Hayes added 17 points for eStem, which was making its first state championship game appearance.

Riley Rose and Anna Lowery led Harding Academy, which won its only state title in 2004, with 10 points. Rose also finished with five assists.
