COLUMBIA, S.C. (Univ. of Ark.) – Wrapping up a four-game road trip and back-to-back dual matches against ranked opponents, the No. 45 University of Arkansas women's tennis team was topped 4-0 by No. 65 South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., on Sunday.

Shannon Hudson led at No. 2 singles for the Razorbacks (12-12, 2-8 SEC) and Brittany Huxley was just about to begin play at No. 6 singles, but the Gamecocks (12-8, 3-6 SEC) used an early doubles point and three straight singles wins to clinch the 4-0 victory.

UA returns home to Fayetteville next weekend to wrap up its home slate by hosting Louisiana Tech and No. 9 Georgia on April 4, then No. 39 Tennessee on April 6.
