(Univ. of Ark.) - The Arkansas baseball team (20-13) dropped the opening game of a midweek series with UNLV (23-9) Tuesday evening, falling 10-7 at Baum Stadium.Michael Bernal led the way at the plate with two hits, including a three-run home run to left field in the second inning to give the Razorbacks a 3-2 lead. Brian Anderson continued his recent hot streak as well, reaching base four times, including a solo home run in the ninth inning to extend his hitting streak to nine games.

Arkansas and UNLV will play the final game of the midweek set Wednesday evening at Baum Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
