LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- What a perfect way to get the Hogs pumped for their opener this Saturday against Auburn University.
The Razorbacks just bolstered their offensive attack in a big way today, as four-star recruit K.J. Hill of North Little Rock committed to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks Friday morning slightly after 10. He made his decision from the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame at Verizon Area in North Little Rock.
THV11's Hayden Balgavy tweeted K.J. Hill's comment soon after making his decision, "Coach Bielema made me feel very wanted, I just told him I'm a Razorback."
Now that K.J. Hill is officially a Razorback, he is already taking a role as the Razorbacks' chief recruiter. Hayden Balgavy tweeted another comment from Hill, "I gotta recruit for the Hogs now, couple of guys in state I want to bring with me."
It is certainly a very important recruiting win for the Razorbacks, especially since K.J. Hill is the top recruit from the state of Arkansas for 2015. Keeping in-state recruits in Arkansas is a must for the Razorbacks to compete in the loaded SEC.
Bret Bielema is in his second year as the Hogs head coach, and recruiting wins like Hill help him mold the team he wants over the the next few years to return the Razorbacks back to relevance in college football.
